Genetic facts of psoriasis

1. Concordant in 70% monozygotic twins and only 20% in dizygotic twins
2. One parent affected, 16% child will be affected
3. Both parents affected, 50% child will be affected
4. If none of parents affected, but one sibling affected, the subsequent child is 10% affected
